At LiteSite.nz, we’re committed to providing affordable, reliable website services for New Zealand businesses. To ensure we can deliver consistently high-quality support to all our customers, this Fair Use Policy outlines what’s included in your plan and where reasonable limits apply.

What Fair Use Means

Your LiteSite plan includes time and resources for website setup, hosting, and support. Depending on your plan, it may also include ongoing updates. We’re happy to help with:

  • Keeping your website running smoothly
  • Answering how-to questions and offering basic guidance
  • Completing small updates as included in your plan (for example, updating text, swapping images, or adjusting layout elements)

We aim to deliver fast and helpful support — and ask that customers use their plan in a way that’s fair and respectful to our time and other clients.

What’s Not Included

To keep pricing simple and sustainable, some requests fall outside of fair use. These may require a quote or additional payment. Examples include:

  • Building or populating large websites (e.g. more than 20 pages, extensive product catalogues, or multi-language sites)
  • Uploading bulk content (like product imports, blog archives, or media libraries)
  • Full website redesigns or major structural changes
  • Custom coding, plugin development, or third-party integrations
  • Uploading large amounts of content or product data
  • Repeated or frequent requests beyond your plan allowance
  • Strategic work such as copywriting, SEO audits, or design consulting

If a request goes beyond your current plan, we’ll let you know in advance and offer options such as add-on services or blocks of time.

For Customers on the Care Plan

If you’re on the Care Plan, you have access to unlimited small updates. These are tasks that typically take around 15 minutes or less, such as text or image updates.

If a request is larger or more complex, we may:

  • Recommend breaking it into smaller tasks over time
  • Suggest purchasing a block of hours or one-off service
  • Provide a fixed quote for the work

This allows us to keep turnaround times fair for all customers.

Respecting Our Time and Service

We value every customer and do our best to provide great service. We simply ask that support requests are made in good faith and within the spirit of fair use.

If we notice consistent overuse or misuse of the service, we may ask you to upgrade your plan, purchase extra time, or in rare cases, pause your support access.
