Welcome to LiteSite.nz. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”), which govern your use of the LiteSite platform and any related products, services, and content provided by us.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

Overview of Service

LiteSite.nz is a subscription-based website service offering:

• Professionally designed website templates
• WordPress hosting and ongoing support
• Optional micro services and upgrades
• One-time buyout option for site export and self-hosting

Your subscription gives you access to a ready-to-use website that you can edit, manage, and grow using our platform.

Eligibility

To use LiteSite.nz, you must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Be legally able to enter a binding agreement
• Use the service for lawful business or personal purposes

Website Ownership & Licensing

LiteSite websites are built using WordPress and Elementor. While you retain full rights to your own content (images, text, branding), the template design, structure, and setup remain the property of LiteSite.nz unless a buyout is purchased.

Buyout Option:
You may purchase a full template export and licence for continued independent use (see Template Buyout section).

Subscription Plans

By subscribing, you agree to monthly billing at your selected plan rate until cancellation. Your plan includes:

• Website hosting and updates
• Support based on the level chosen (Starter, Done-With-You, Care Plan)
• Access to training materials and resources

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.

Payment Terms

• Payments are processed via Stripe in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
• Failed payments may result in service suspension.
• Prices may change with 30 days’ notice via email or website update.

Support & Fair Use

We offer optional support services via email or live chat. Usage is subject to our Fair Use Policy and limited by your plan. Abuse or excessive requests may result in a request to upgrade or purchase additional services.

Micro Services & Add-Ons

We offer additional paid services for specific tasks such as:

• eCommerce setup
• Blog setup or copy entry
• Domain connection support
• Site updates beyond plan limits

All micro services are quoted in advance and are non-refundable once completed.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel anytime. Your site will remain live until the end of your current billing cycle.

• We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
• After 30 days, refunds are not issued except in cases of billing error.
• Refunds do not apply to micro services or completed work.

Template Buyout

You may purchase a template buyout to export your website and self-host it elsewhere. The buyout includes:

• Full WordPress export files
• Elementor-compatible templates
• One-time transfer assistance (if needed)

Upon buyout, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the template for your business.

LiteSite.nz is not responsible for hosting, performance, or support after export.

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete business information
• Manage your own content unless otherwise arranged
• Use the service in accordance with NZ law
• Not duplicate, resell, or sub-license your LiteSite

You are responsible for managing your domain name registration and renewal unless we assist as a paid service.

Content & Conduct

You must not use your LiteSite for illegal or harmful activities, including:

• Fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content
• Discrimination or harassment
• Hacking, malware, or spam distribution
• Hosting prohibited goods or services

We reserve the right to suspend or remove websites that breach this policy.

Service Uptime & Maintenance

We aim for 99.9% uptime and perform regular maintenance. We may temporarily disable access to perform upgrades or fix issues. We are not liable for interruptions outside our control (e.g. hosting outages, third-party software issues).

Intellectual Property

All template designs, training materials, and branding assets provided by LiteSite.nz remain our intellectual property unless otherwise licensed. You may not resell or redistribute them without written permission.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll notify you via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LiteSite.nz is not liable for:

• Loss of income, customers, or business
• Errors caused by third-party software or services
• Data loss from user actions or third-party interference

Our total liability is limited to the fees you’ve paid in the 3 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be handled through New Zealand courts or mediation services.
